Margareth Lanzinger

Studies of History at the University of Vienna and Graz; Habilitation in 2013 on the topic “Administrated Relations. Bars to marriage, ecclesiastical and state dispensation practices in the 18th and 19th centuries” (published 2015); has worked as both project staff member and project manager in numerous research projects since 1998; between 2011 and 2014 guest professor at the University of Vienna and the Free University of Berlin, Guest lecturer at the universities of Hannover and Siegen; member of international research networks and part of the editing team of L’homme. ZFG, the periodical Historische Anthropologie, the Quaderni storici and the Zeitschrift für Agrargeschichte und Agrarsoziologie (The periodical of Agricultural History and Agricultural Sociology).

Historical Anthropology, Micro-history, Gender History, Historical Relation/Kinship Research, History of Marriage, Property and Estates, Cultural history of Administration, Construction of heroines.
