Born in Horn (Lower Austria) in 1984. Beate Pamperl studied Theatre, Film and Media Studies at the University of Vienna and wrote her diploma thesis on the topic of visualisations in digital humanities. From 2007 to 2019, she was IT manager at the Institute of History at the University of Vienna. She has been IT Coordinator at the Faculty of History and Cultural Studies at the University of Vienna since 2014, Deputy Managing Director of the Faculty since 2019 and Consultant for Digitalization and Digital Humanities since 2022. Beate Pamperl has been part of the research team since 2011, where she is responsible for both the databases and the web portal.
