Born in Horn (Lower Austria) in 1984. She studied Theatre, Film and Media Sciences at the University of Vienna and wrote her thesis on the topic of Visualisation in Digital Humanities. She is IT Coordinator and deputy managing director at the Faculty of Historical and Cultural Studies, as well as a cooperative staff member in various scientific projects at the University of Vienna. Beate Pamperl has been part of the research team since 2011, where she is responsible for both the databases and the web portal.
